Highway to Hell: A Question of Culture and the Church

Last week our pastoral staff went up to The Elephant Room Conference hosted by Harvest Bible Chapel (led by Pastor James McDonald).  As a team we were attempting to “live life together” but also take advantage of the equipping opportunity afforded to us by this conference.  The premise of the conference was to assemble of group of eight well-known pastors (not us by the way) and discuss issues of potential disagreement–the “elephants” in the room.

One Pastor, Perry Noble, apparently had his worship team play the 80’s rock song by AC/DC “Highwell to Hell” as an introduction to the message that Easter morning.  Thus, the question is raised about bringing “culture” into the church.  How far is too far to go in order to reach the lost?   Here is part 1 of the discussion:

BTW:  I will buy the first person in Lafayette, IN  (Faith staff excluded) who spots Pastor Viars in this video or in the first released video a Starbucks coffee.  You just need to tell me at what time mark  did you see him and where on the video so I can verify that you are right.
