God Judges between David and Saul
Passage: 1 Samuel 24
Principle: God’s Word is the standard of right and wrong.
Praise: “Undivided Heart”
Prompt: Ask your child these questions:
- Why didn’t David kill Saul when he had the opportunity?
- What was the difference between Saul’s reaction and David’s reaction to God’s commands?
Practice: Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:
- By trusting Scripture over the advice of other people.
- By obeying Scripture.
