Prompt: Ask your child these questions:
- What kind of relationship did David have with Saul and Jonathan?
- Why did Saul try to kill David?
Practice: Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:
- By showing love to those who love him and to those who dislike him.
- By trusting that God is sovereign over the relationships in his life.
