It seems like just yesterday I was a freshman being thrown onto the varsity volleyball team and having no clue what I was doing. Now I am a senior and have the opportunity every time I walk into that gym to be a leader for the rest of the team.
I absolutely love volleyball and every single one of the girls on my team. I am so incredibly thankful for the relationships that I have built over these past 4 years and the memories that will last a lifetime. A few of my favorite memories are bus rides to and from games. One specifically comes to mind when we found a box of latex gloves in the back of the bus and someone decided to put them on their head. As a freshman, I thought that this was the funniest thing.
I want to thank all of the coaches who have continually poured into my life and instructed me on not only volleyball but my walk with the Lord. I can’t wait to see how our team grows closer and closer as we finish out this season.
