2017-18 Girls’ Soccer Team

There are still the distant memories from my sophomore year when we all cut our hair for a teammate and went all the way to semi-state. There isn’t a lot that can compare to that feeling, but my senior year, the bittersweet sensation of my last year, that’s something that’s hard to explain. I’ve felt so extremely blessed to spend my last high school soccer season with the team I have this year.

The girls that we have on our team have really become like family to me. Sure we have a small team, but that’s what lets us all know each other on a more personal level. I have seen so much growth in each individual and in the way we all have come to work as a team and I love seeing friends of mine becoming better at something that’s such a big part of my life. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to lead these girls with my fellow seniors and get to know each of my teammates personally.

I can’t wait to see how the rest of the season goes and how we finish. I’m excited to help all the girls throughout the rest of this year that way they can have success in their coming years!
