10 days until Race for Hope 2014!

We are at $21,928.00 toward our $40k goal which is 55% of our goal. Still a long way to go but we are making progress! For Vision of Hope, this fundraiser is our most important event. I cannot overstate how vital a strong showing is to the program so I appreciate all of the hard work by our Team Captains to help us tell people about Jesus first and the program second so that we can keep VOH going for years to come. Thank you, Leaders!

Also, we have a new event the night before the race. On Friday, June 13th from 6-8 pm, Jocelyn Wallace (former executive director) will return for a “Race Reunion” event at the Community Center Loft. You won’t want to miss all that Jocelyn will share with us. She and I met to go over her ideas and it will really bless you to hear what this amazing young woman is learning from God and His Word. Plan to be there and RSVP to Bethany at bspence@faithlafayette.org so we can have enough food for you!

Another great feature that night is that the band, Forgiven Still (pictured above), will be leading us in worship (go to http://forgivenstill.com/). Trust me, you won’t want to miss this intimate occasion to praise God together for Who He is and what He has done at Vision of Hope: Where God Transforms Lives by His amazing grace!

As we make our final 10 day push, let’s continue to praise and honor the Lord!
