Eat More Chicken, Help More Girls!

VOH is having a fundraiser and YOU can participate. Not only “can” you, but “could” you? Vision of Hope is inviting EVERYONE we know, to join us and the Chick Fil A on State Road 26 for a night of nuggets and a festival of fries, all to the glory of God and benefit of Vision of Hope!

Here’s the 5 Ws on it:

WHO: As already mentioned, EVERYONE who knows and loves VOH is encouraged to be part of this event. Kids, parents, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, grandparents, sponsors, church members, etc. We need as many people as possible to know and join in on the fun (to help us put the “fun” in fundraiser).

WHY: Because Vision of Hope is a non-profit organization. Everything we do comes from a desire to serve God wholeheartedly, and provide the best ministry we can with the resources we have. We cannot (I repeat, CANNOT) serve the girls at VOH without help from sponsors! We do what we do because “y’all do what ya’ll do.” We want to see every lady at VOH succeed, and we want to offer our ministry to as many ladies as possible, by the grace of God and the generosity of His followers!

WHERE: Chick Fil A, 3836 State Road 26. Lafayette, Indiana. 47905

WHEN:  September 6th, 2013 from 5pm-8pm

And finally

WHAT: Whoever is able can come into the Chick Fil A restaurant between 5-8pm to eat. When you place your RECEIPT in the DONATION BOX at Chic-fil-a, you will be helping Vision of Hope. The Vision of Hope ministry will receive 20% of the proceeds from each receipt in the donation box. If you don’t have time to go inside, you can also order through the drive through and simply tell the Chick Fil A employee, “Put my receipt in the VOH donation box,” and they will place your receipt in the box for us!

Also, we’ll have our VOH display set up. Come say hi to our lovely volunteers, pick up a brochure, and ask any questions you have about Vision of Hope!

Rachel Bailey
I began my internship with Vision of Hope in January 2013. In my current understanding of God’s will for my life, I am pursuing wisdom and experience to one day work with women with eating disorders. My desire is to plant my feet in truth, while reaching my arms as far as I can toward the broken and hurting. With God’s help and guidance, I hope to become a godly woman and counselor to provide Truth-based counsel rather than “evidenced-based practice.” My life verse is Ecclesiastes 5:7 which says, “For in many dreams and in many words there is emptiness. Rather, fear God."
