John Baptizes Jesus
Passage: Matthew 3:13–17
Principle: Jesus the Messiah was sent by the Father to provide salvation for those who would believe.
Praise: “Jesus, You Are Lord”
Prompt: Ask your child these questions:
- What happened after Jesus came up out of the water?
- What did God the Father say about His Son?
Practice: Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:
- By trusting Jesus as his only hope for salvation.
- By learning what it means to please God the Father.
