John Prepares the Way for the Lord
Passage: Matthew 3:1–12
Principle: True repentance produces spiritual fruit in every believer.
Praise: “Lord, Be Glorified”
Prompt: Ask your child these questions:
- How did John the Baptist fulfill prophecy?
- Why didn’t John allow the Pharisees and Sadducees to be baptized?
Practice: Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:
- By submitting to the lordship of Jesus as King.
- By examining his life for spiritual fruit.
