Race for Hope: What’s the Big Deal?

You’ve heard us talk about the upcoming Race for Hope fundraiser. But perhaps you’re wondering, “Why should I donate? What would my money be going towards?”

Did you know that since opening, Vision of Hope has served 218 young women? We have seen 69 salvations and have had 62 graduates. Those numbers represent many lives who have been radically changed by the gospel and a thriving relationship with Christ! Many of the ladies who have gone through our program are now ministering to others in various ways – to their own families and children, in their local church, as Biblical Counselors to others in need, as pastors’ wives or missionaries overseas. God is using radically transformed lives to help radically transform others as well, and His kingdom is being built.

Vision of Hope is not the answer these young women needed. They needed a thriving, transforming relationship with Jesus Christ. But amazingly God has chosen to use Vision of Hope as a vessel by which many young women have heard the gospel and the biblical truths that have set them free.

Through your financial support, you are helping to make it possible for young women to find the freedom they need at a cost they can afford. Please consider helping ladies find freedom through Christ by donating toward our Race for Hope fundraiser. Race Day is June 10th – how will YOU be involved?

Bethany Dunn
Bethany heard about Vision of Hope while attending Word of Life Bible Institute in Florida. When she began praying about what God wanted her to do after graduating, He kept bringing Vision of Hope to her mind. Knowing that there was an internship available, Bethany applied, was accepted, and began her internship with VOH in July, 2012. Since then she has been amazed at the opportunities God has given her to learn more about His Word and how it applies to everyday life. Bethany now serves on staff at Vision of Hope.
