Race for Hope!

Why Race for Hope?

The Race for Hope is a 5k walk/10k certified race benefiting Vision of Hope and Faith Bible Seminary. The staff at Vision of Hope has such a desire to help hurting young women caught in life-dominating sins, and we have found that many times women who are seeking help find the cost of treatment programs an overwhelming obstacle for them in their journey to gain freedom. It is always our goal to be able to provide help to hurting young women at a very minimal room and board fee, with no extra program costs! We have found that many women who contact us inquiring about our program are absolutely floored when we are able to tell them this good news. Providing the Vision of Hope program at a very low cost is a huge goal that we hold at great importance, and that’s where the Race for Hope steps in! We could not continue providing this program at a
low cost if not for the many wonderful, generous donors who support our ministry so faithfully. God uses the Race for Hope each year to meet our financial needs. This is why the Race for Hope is so important!

Recap of Goals:

This year Vision of Hope has the goal of raising $40,000 at the Race for Hope. We are hoping to accomplish this goal by having 40 teams raise $1,000 each. We currently have 32 teams signed up to support Vision of Hope, and we are still quite far from our financial goal. We need a few determined individuals to create new teams and start raising support! This would help us so greatly in our goal to keep our program super affordable. We can also benefit greatly from those who do not wish to create a team but can donate any amount to support Vision of Hope. Thank You!!

A big THANK YOU to all of you who have already shown your support in the Race for Hope! I know many of you have made sacrifices to be able to financially support us for this event, and we cannot express how thankful we are for each of you. Thank you to those who cannot support financially but who faithfully support us through prayer. Your prayers are so appreciated and needed. Please pray for the race on the 15th; for safety for the
participants and that God will meet our needs through this event!

May God bless you all!

Bethany Dunn
Bethany heard about Vision of Hope while attending Word of Life Bible Institute in Florida. When she began praying about what God wanted her to do after graduating, He kept bringing Vision of Hope to her mind. Knowing that there was an internship available, Bethany applied, was accepted, and began her internship with VOH in July, 2012. Since then she has been amazed at the opportunities God has given her to learn more about His Word and how it applies to everyday life. Bethany now serves on staff at Vision of Hope.
