Congratulations to Susan Herrman (Clarinet) and Maddie Irwon (Tuba) on their selection to the Indiana Band Masters.
Susan Herrman and Maddie Irwin were selected to play for the Indiana Band Masters Regional Honor Band. This band consisted of 97 7-9th grade band students from nearly 30 junior high schools in surrounding counties. They were given 8 new pieces to learn in just six weeks time. The girls participated in a seven hour practice on Saturday, followed by a 45 minute concert on Sunday. We appreciate the many hours of work that went into preparing 8 selections as well as staying current with their FCS classwork. These ladies are to be commended for representing our Lord and FCS in this public venue.
