We Need Interns!

Did you know that we offer an internship program? We are looking for interns to hire for this January, and we want YOU to consider joining our team!

An internship at Vision of Hope is a year-long opportunity to learn about Biblical Counseling, how to help women in crisis situations, godly leadership, discipleship, specialized training opportunities, and much more! Here are some details:

Your first 6 months with us, you will be considered a “junior intern.” You would be provided with a lot of training concerning counseling and how to handle different situations that may occur in the VOH home. Your main responsibilities include being with the residents in our program throughout the day, keeping everyone on schedule, encouraging and helping when a resident is struggling, observing counseling sessions for further training, assisting in crisis situations, etc.

In your second 6 months, you will be considered a “senior intern” and will have the opportunity to counsel residents when they request counseling outside of their normal counseling times, help train and lead the junior interns, sub for our on-duty staff, assist staff members who work in your particular area of interest, and more.

Housing, food, and laundry facilities are all provided, as well as a free membership to the Faith Community Fitness Center located beside the VOH home.

If you would like to receive thorough, hands-on training opportunities in Biblical Counseling and helping ladies in need, then an internship at VOH may be perfect for you! For more information, visit our internship page by clicking here!

We hope you will consider working with us to further the kingdom of God!

Bethany Dunn
Bethany heard about Vision of Hope while attending Word of Life Bible Institute in Florida. When she began praying about what God wanted her to do after graduating, He kept bringing Vision of Hope to her mind. Knowing that there was an internship available, Bethany applied, was accepted, and began her internship with VOH in July, 2012. Since then she has been amazed at the opportunities God has given her to learn more about His Word and how it applies to everyday life. Bethany now serves on staff at Vision of Hope.
