New Interns On the Way!

Our internship program is an amazing resource for women who desire to learn how to help hurting young women caught in life-dominating sins. At the end of this month, we will be welcoming in a new group of interns to join the Vision of Hope team!

Every 6 months a new group of young ladies join the Vision of Hope team to participate in our year- long internship program. The interns are thoroughly trained and given the responsibility of supervising the residents in our program throughout the day, taking care of any problems that may arise and providing solid leadership and guidance to the ladies in our program. New interns join our team each year in January and July. Housing is offered for them here at Vision of Hope, and they are provided with many opportunities during their year here to learn and grow in the areas of counseling and helping
hurting women.

The Vision of Hope internship program not only challenges and teaches ladies how to help others, but also challenges and stretches them in their personal lives as well. Being placed in many situations where you do not know what to do and simply must rely on the Lord is humbling, and can reveal idols in your own heart and areas in which you need to grow in your walk with God.

Having gone through the experience myself just one short year ago, I know that the transition into the responsibilities of the internship program can be challenging. At the end of this month we will welcome in 6 new interns, Alisha, Julie, Stephanie, Abigail, Dezaree, and Mary. Let us lift up these up-and-coming interns in prayer as they are preparing to join our team!

Bethany Dunn
Bethany heard about Vision of Hope while attending Word of Life Bible Institute in Florida. When she began praying about what God wanted her to do after graduating, He kept bringing Vision of Hope to her mind. Knowing that there was an internship available, Bethany applied, was accepted, and began her internship with VOH in July, 2012. Since then she has been amazed at the opportunities God has given her to learn more about His Word and how it applies to everyday life. Bethany now serves on staff at Vision of Hope.
