Race for Hope: Across the Miles Part 1

We are so thankful for all of the participant in the Race for Hope! It is amazing to see God using this event to spead the gospel and to encourage believers everywhere that God is powerful to transform lives!

One young lady, Brey, chose to take this fundraiser and message across the miles! Brey is one of our graduates and also faithfully served with us as an intern for a year. Since completing her internship, she has moved to North Carolina, where she has gotten involved in a local church body there.

Brey has a passion for Vision of Hope, and she and the Young Professionals group from Lake Norman Baptist Church in NC went hiking at Lake Norman as their own “Race for Hope” on the day of our race! Knowing there are faithful people participating in supporting Vision of Hope and dedicated to participating in our “race” is incredibly encouraging, and we are so thankful for Brey and the other members on the “YoPro” group in NC!

Bethany Dunn
Bethany heard about Vision of Hope while attending Word of Life Bible Institute in Florida. When she began praying about what God wanted her to do after graduating, He kept bringing Vision of Hope to her mind. Knowing that there was an internship available, Bethany applied, was accepted, and began her internship with VOH in July, 2012. Since then she has been amazed at the opportunities God has given her to learn more about His Word and how it applies to everyday life. Bethany now serves on staff at Vision of Hope.
