VOH Fun Facts – Our Volunteer Team!

We hope that our “Fun Facts” blog series has been helpful for you so far, to connect you more deeply to the inner workings of our ministry. A lot goes on behind-the-scenes to keep Vision of Hope up and running, and we are so thankful for everyone involved in serving Christ through this program.

Did you know that we have over 100 individuals who have completed our volunteer training? That’s 100 individuals who have given their time and resources in one way or another to serve us at Vision of Hope. There are many ways these individuals are involved with us. Some are one-on-one mentors or a young lady in our program. Others come on a weekly basis to help serve our ladies and help them through their daily schedule. Some come to help with secretarial or errand-running needs. Many of these faithful individual are simply on our call-list for random, sporadic needs. In whatever capacity they are serving, we are so thankful for each of these individuals for taking the time to go through out training in order to meet needs at VOH.

Even with all of these faithful individuals on our volunteer team, we still have many needs. Are you interested in being involved in our program as a volunteer? Click here for more information!

Bethany Dunn
Bethany heard about Vision of Hope while attending Word of Life Bible Institute in Florida. When she began praying about what God wanted her to do after graduating, He kept bringing Vision of Hope to her mind. Knowing that there was an internship available, Bethany applied, was accepted, and began her internship with VOH in July, 2012. Since then she has been amazed at the opportunities God has given her to learn more about His Word and how it applies to everyday life. Bethany now serves on staff at Vision of Hope.
