God Shows Mercy to Jonah and Nineveh
Passage: Jonah 1–4
Principle: God is gracious and compassionate.
Praise: “Humble Thyself in the Sight of the Lord”
Prompt: Ask your child these questions:
- Why did Jonah not want to preach to Nineveh?
- How was God merciful to Jonah and Nineveh?
Practice: Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:
- By thanking God for being merciful to sinners.
- By asking God to use you to show His mercy to others.
