God Forgives David
Passage: 2 Samuel 11–12
Principle: We should turn to God’s grace after disobeying His Word.
Praise: “Humble Thyself in the Sight of the Lord.”
Prompt: Ask your child these questions:
- How did David disobey God’s Word?
- How did God extend grace to David?
Practice: Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:
- By accepting the consequences of his sin.
- By repenting of his sin and receiving God’s forgiveness.
