Truth is a principle that effects our daily lives. Whether we believe it or not, everyone has a source of Truth; everyone believes in something. Even those who say they don’t believe in any truth are believing a truth by making that very statement! It is important, therefore, to evaluate what you believe and to identify what is your highest source of Truth.
The Bible is the only text that is the literal Word of God. Because it is the true Word of God, the Bible should be our highest source of truth. It should have the authority in our lives, telling us how we should live and respond in every situation.
In John 8:31-32, Jesus said, “If you abide in My word, you are truly My disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” How awesome it is to know that we have the true, reliable, inerrant Word of God at our fingertips, and that the Truth it holds provides true and lasting freedom!
In the coming weeks, we will be sharing stories from some of our staff members and interns on how the Truth has impacted their lives, and how it still impacts them day to day. Keep checking in for these encouraging testimonies!
