Tonight in the Faith Church auditorium at 6 pm, Vision of Hope will be celebrating four new graduates of the program. These ladies have worked so hard to study God’s Word and to apply it in their lives according to James 1:22:
But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves.
It has been a privilege for us to watch God’s faithfulness in their lives as they strive to be faithful to Him by obeying His Word.
One of the best elements of our graduation celebration is the Presentation of the Graduation Rings (see picture). Each counselor gives each graduate a beautiful ring with either a key Scripture verse or a word selected by her counselor that represents the young woman’s spiritual journey at Vision of Hope. It is often my favorite moment to see the surprised look from the graduate as she learns the word that her counselor chose for her because it is so personalized and unique.
I hope you will come to be a part of the ceremony tonight to hear the amazing work of the grace of God who is to be glorified and praised above all others. We can say with confidence that our graduates have learned to be doers and not just hearers of the Word and we look forward to how the Lord will use them in days ahead for the work of advancing His kingdom.
