What Does a Girl Need to Know About Her Body?

Interesting question coming from a guy, hugh!

Ladies, your body is attached to your soul.  Your body (and soul) is a treasure given to you by God.

“Protect the Treasure” as I put it.

Protect your body.  Protect your soul.  God made you – Psalm 139:13-14; Col.1:16-17)

  • Think about this.  If I gave you one million dollars, would you wear a coat with pockets all over it, stuff the pockets with your million dollars and walk around and let anyone and everyone grab whatever they want.  Amazing how so many young ladies will allow this to happen, or even want this to happen, with their bodies, but would never consider doing this with their bank accounts (or a million dollars given to them).
  • Proverbs 4:23 says “above all else, guard your heart, for out of it flows the issues of life.  (Yes, it’s for the guys too.)  Ladies, God has made you special.  Sexual arousal, sexual activity, and sexual intercourse have been designed by God to be explored, enjoyed, and invigorating within the boundaries of marriage between one man and one woman (I Thesselonians.4:3-8; Hebrews 13:4).
  • We can not do something with our body without it reflecting and impacting the condition of our soul, good or bad, especially in the most intimate human connection – sexual (1 Corinthans 6).

Protect your Treasure!

For some of you that may say “too late,”  well, you can start today.  Stop giving away your body and soul.  Protect your Treasure!  You are special to God.  He made you.  He loves you.  He wants you to protect all that He has made you to be.   For a further explanation of God’s love for you see my post on “What is the GOSPEL?

And, regarding the right man for you…  For one, you want a man that will help you protect your treasure instead of trying to steal it.  Say goodbye to the thieves.  The man you want will wait and pursue the treasure of all of who you are, not just the part he wants for the moment.

Ladies,  PROTECT YOUR TREASURE!
