Guys, we all know the ladies don’t get it when it comes to the male brain and lust and sex. However, our Creator does. And He has a few things to say about the issue – What we think about…How we use our body and what we use if for….What we talk about…. So, here is one purity principle that may stick in your brain and help you connect a biblical truth in a relevent way that, hopefully, will help you live differently – In a way that honors God.
Guys, “Keep your rocket in your pocket.”
That’s right. Guys, biblically, if you are not married to one woman, you better keep your rocket in your pocket. Explanation, God gave you a sexual organ to bring pleasure to your wife in the context of marriage. I Thessalonians 4:1-8 is real clear. God’s will for those who follow Him (and for all) is to not be involved in sexual immorality-not just intercorse, but arrousing or taunting someone to have sexual thoughts, desires, or engage in sexual activity.
Yes, this goes against most TV shows, movies, and modern day slogans and worldviews – who cares!
Yes, there are more purity principles for the fellas, but let’s make sure you follow this one. And, let’s make sure you are keeping your buddies accountable to do the same.
