Just Around the Corner: VOH Benefit Concert

September is just around the corner, and that means we are all getting very excited about up upcoming benefit concert on September 24th!

Beginning at 5:00pm at Faith Church, we will be having a time of fellowship with hors d’oeuvres, then at 6:00pm we will be blessed to present a free concert featuring Grammy nominated recording artist, Wayburn Dean.

In a previous blog, we shared a little about Wayburn’s time with the group, Acappella. Now, let’s learn more about his ministry.

Wayburn and his wife, Janae, work together to create both the lyrics and melodies designed to point others to Christ. In 2014, Wayburn and Janae began a prison ministry with the goal of evangelism called, “Inside Prison Ministry.” Wayburn and his wife have a heart to see others come to know Christ as their Savior, and since their ministry began they have been able to witness 680 men give their lives to Christ.

We are so excited to hear from Wayburn in our benefit concert, and to be among those who are blessed by the gifts given to he and his wife.

Bethany heard about Vision of Hope while attending Word of Life Bible Institute in Florida. When she began praying about what God wanted her to do after graduating, He kept bringing Vision of Hope to her mind. Knowing that there was an internship available, Bethany applied, was accepted, and began her internship with VOH in July, 2012. Since then she has been amazed at the opportunities God has given her to learn more about His Word and how it applies to everyday life. Bethany now serves on staff at Vision of Hope.
