Race for Hope Update: T-Shirts!

The Race for Hope is just a few short days away, and all of our planning and hard work is about to be a reality! We pray that God will use this event to not only provide financially for Vision of Hope, but also to be an opportunity to spread the message of the gospel!

Each year, participants in the walk or run receive athletic t-shirts to remind them of their time with us. If you have ever visited Vision of Hope, you know that purple is prominently displayed. We have chosen purple as the “color” of Vision of Hope because in the Bible, purple represents royalty. Purple was precious, and our Savior was adorned with a purple robe before His crucifixion. We want the ladies in our program to remember that Christ calls His children heirs with Him, and that He sees them as very precious. That is why this year, the t-shirts we will be giving to those registered for the Race will be purple.

Please keep praying for the Race for Hope and its participants! There is still time to register or donate – click here to learn more!

Bethany Dunn
Bethany heard about Vision of Hope while attending Word of Life Bible Institute in Florida. When she began praying about what God wanted her to do after graduating, He kept bringing Vision of Hope to her mind. Knowing that there was an internship available, Bethany applied, was accepted, and began her internship with VOH in July, 2012. Since then she has been amazed at the opportunities God has given her to learn more about His Word and how it applies to everyday life. Bethany now serves on staff at Vision of Hope.
