VOH Fun Facts – Our Team

We are always encouraged when we reflect on the number of people involved in keeping our ministry up and running. In Matthew 10:45, Jesus said, “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Christ is our example, and we know that each staff member, intern, and volunteer who serve in our ministry is following this example from Christ. We are so grateful.

We currently have a staff team of 10 individuals for the Vision of Hope ministry, 3 of which have been with our ministry from the very beginning. Now, remember in our last blog I mentioned that we have 31 young ladies participating in our program? Our staff team is far outnumbered, and that is where our interns come in!

Our current intern team is made up of 12 young ladies who are on fire for the Lord and are here to serve with us for an entire year. They are a staple to our ministry, and help us to be able to provide the care and oversight that each young lady in our program needs. Our interns go above and beyond for our ministry, and without their faithful and dedicated service we would not be able to serve as many ladies as we are today.

It takes a big team to accomplish a big task for the Lord. Please keep our staff and intern teams in your prayers, as they seek to love our ladies well and be vivid examples of Christ to them.

Bethany heard about Vision of Hope while attending Word of Life Bible Institute in Florida. When she began praying about what God wanted her to do after graduating, He kept bringing Vision of Hope to her mind. Knowing that there was an internship available, Bethany applied, was accepted, and began her internship with VOH in July, 2012. Since then she has been amazed at the opportunities God has given her to learn more about His Word and how it applies to everyday life. Bethany now serves on staff at Vision of Hope.
