ACBC Pre-Conference

At this year’s ACBC conference, Vision of Hope had the privilege of having a video testimony of one of our graduates featured during the Pre-Conference. The topic of the Pre-Conference at ACBC was entitled “Counseling and Medical Issues.” We are grateful the Lord chose to use one of our testimonies of His faithfulness as an opportunity to encourage others that the Word of God is sufficient to transform lives, even in very difficult circumstances!

Last week, a blog was posted on the ACBC website containing this video, and highlighting our need for interns! We are still searching for one or two more interns for January 2015 so it’s not too late to inquire about the possibility of becoming an intern with us. Contact jheikkinen@faithlafayette.org today if you are interested.

We hope that hearing testimonies like Julia’s will prompt you to consider looking into our internship program as a way to deeply invest in the lives of hurting young women and to grow in your skills as a counselor and a godly leader.

Bethany Dunn
Bethany heard about Vision of Hope while attending Word of Life Bible Institute in Florida. When she began praying about what God wanted her to do after graduating, He kept bringing Vision of Hope to her mind. Knowing that there was an internship available, Bethany applied, was accepted, and began her internship with VOH in July, 2012. Since then she has been amazed at the opportunities God has given her to learn more about His Word and how it applies to everyday life. Bethany now serves on staff at Vision of Hope.
