Leadership Training

As many of you know, Vision of Hope not only provides help to women who are hurting, but also provides training opportunities for women who have a desire to learn about biblical counseling and how to help other women. We offer a year-long internship program where women can come and be a part of our ministry, serving the residents by supervising them, providing accountability, and providing biblical help and encouragement to them on a day-to-day basis.Vision of Hope provides housing, food, and laundry facilities to our interns, as well as many amazing training opportunities. Those who come for our internship have the opportunity to sit in on counseling sessions, watching firsthand as the word of God is taught in a way that transforms the lives of hurting women. Interns are placed in a position of leadership which can be challenging, but provides an awesome opportunity to rely on the Lord for wisdom and draw closer to Him for help!

InĀ future blog posts, you will beĀ introducing you to our current interns, many of which are brand new!

With our focus at Vision of Hope on disciple-making and raising up servants to labor in local churches for the kingdom of God, the internship program is a vital part of what this ministry is all about. If you would like to apply to become an intern, email Jenn Heikkinen, Intern Supervisor, at jheikkinen@faithlafayette.org today! We accept up to 6 interns every January and July for a total of 12 interns. A few slots are open for this coming January but apply soon.

Bethany Dunn
Bethany heard about Vision of Hope while attending Word of Life Bible Institute in Florida. When she began praying about what God wanted her to do after graduating, He kept bringing Vision of Hope to her mind. Knowing that there was an internship available, Bethany applied, was accepted, and began her internship with VOH in July, 2012. Since then she has been amazed at the opportunities God has given her to learn more about His Word and how it applies to everyday life. Bethany now serves on staff at Vision of Hope.
