Highest Praise: Fundraising Banquet 2013

Vision of Hope has two main fundraisers each year. The first is our Race for Hope, held in June. The second is our Homecoming Banquet in October. This year’s banquet is centered around the theme, “Highest Praise,” and will be held on October 12th. This is an invitation-only, semi-formal event.

  • We are thrilled to have you attend our fundraising dinner, to hear some of the testimonies of VOH graduates, and to meet some of the men and women responsible for Vision of Hope’s success. For some, that will mean meeting you!
  • Thanks so much for your support of this fundraising banquet. It is all for His highest praise.
  • “He reached down from on high and took hold of me; He drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me… my God turned my darkness into light” (Psalm 18:16-17, 28).

I began my internship with Vision of Hope in January 2013. In my current understanding of God’s will for my life, I am pursuing wisdom and experience to one day work with women with eating disorders. My desire is to plant my feet in truth, while reaching my arms as far as I can toward the broken and hurting. With God’s help and guidance, I hope to become a godly woman and counselor to provide Truth-based counsel rather than “evidenced-based practice.” My life verse is Ecclesiastes 5:7 which says, “For in many dreams and in many words there is emptiness. Rather, fear God."
