Faith Kids @ Home: November 22, 2015

The following lesson was taught in our children’s Sunday School classes on Sunday, November 22. We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday’s lesson with your family.

God Uses Daniel to Interpret the King’s Dream

Passage: Daniel 2

Principle: Man will be comforted or warned by God’s sovereign plan for human history.

Praise: “Lord, I Lift Your Name on High”

Prompt: Ask your child these questions:

  • How did Daniel find out about Nebuchadnezzar’s dream?
  • What did Nebuchadnezzar see in his dream and what did it mean?

Practice: Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:

  • By trusting that God is in control of human history.
  • By repenting before God’s kingdom comes.

This Week: As a family, read selected portions of Daniel 2.

Next Week: Genesis 3:15; 12:1–3; 49:10

Memory Verse: “Let the name of God be blessed forever and ever, for wisdom and power belong to Him.” Daniel 2:20

*Preschool verse in bold print
