Faith Kids @ Home : March 28 , 2021

The following lesson was taught in our children’s Sunday School classes on Sunday, March 28. We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday’s lesson with your family.

God Punishes Judah

READ: 2 Kings 21-25

ASK YOUR CHILD:

• Why did God punish Judah? God’s people had strayed into ever increasing levels of rebellion and idolatry.

• What did God promise would happen after Israel repented? God promised to hear them and restore them to the land.

EMPHASIZE THIS PRINCIPLE: “God judges sin. Therefore we should flee idolatry.”

PRACTICE:

• Hate sin as God does.

• Repent from sin and ask God for forgiveness.

PRAISE: “Blessed Be the Name of the Lord”

PREPARE FOR NEXT WEEK: Jonah 1-4

MEMORIZE FOR MAR 28-MAY 2: “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.” Galatians 6:7-9
