God Delivers Daniel from the Lions’ Den
Read: Daniel 6
Ask your child:
- How was Daniel faithful to God? Daniel continued praying to God despite the possibility of punishment.
- What did God reveal about Himself by saving Daniel? God revealed that He is faithful to His children.
Emphasize this principle: God deserves our trust. Therefore, we should live faithfully for Him.
Practice:
- Develop the habit of praying continually.
- Trust God to be faithful at all times.
Sing: “Great Is Thy Faithfulness”
Prepare for next week: Esther
Memorize for Feb 25-Mar 31: “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
