God Protects Daniel’s Friends
Read: Daniel 3
Ask your child:
- Why did Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego disobey the king? Worshiping an idol would displease God.
- What did God reveal about Himself by delivering Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego? God is able to rescue those who trust Him.
Emphasize this principle: God alone deserves our worship. Therefore, we should keep ourselves from idols.
Practice:
- Give the Lord your full devotion.
- Demonstrate God’s worth to others by obeying His Word.
