Faith Kids @ Home: July 21, 2024

The following lesson was taught in our children’s Sunday School classes on Sunday, July 21. We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday’s lesson with your family.

The Gentiles Receive the Gospel

Read: Acts 10:1-11:18

Ask your child:

  • How did God show that He wanted Gentiles to be saved? God gave Peter a vision which revealed that He had eliminated the distinctions between Jews and Gentiles, making the gospel available to all people.
  • What happened when Peter preached in Cornelius’s home? The Holy Spirit fell upon the Gentile believers.

Emphasize this principle: God offers salvation to all people. Therefore, we should believe and proclaim the truth to others.

Practice:

  • Rejoice that God has chosen to save both Jews and Gentiles.
  • Share the gospel with those around you.

Sing: “Change My Heart, O God”

Prepare for next week:Revelation 20:1-15

Memorize for Jul 21-Aug 11: “Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.”

Philippians 2:3-4** Preschool verse in bold
