The following lesson was taught in our children’s Sunday School classes on Sunday, January 16. We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday’s lesson with your family.
Review of Exodus–Ruth
Ask your child:
- How did God demonstrate His love for His people? He rescued them from oppression, provided for their needs, called them into a special relationship with Him, and fulfilled His promises to them.
- What did God ask of His people? He asked them to love and obey Him.
Emphasize this principle: God loves and provides for His people. Therefore, we should love and obey Him.
Practice:
- Thank God for His lovingkindness toward us.
- Trust and please the Lord in all circumstances.
