Faith Kids @ Home : April 5 , 2020

The following lesson was taught in our children’s Sunday School classes on Sunday, April 5. We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday’s lesson with your family.

God Restores Jerusalem’s Wall and People

Read: Nehemiah 1-10

Ask your child:

  • How did God use Nehemiah? Nehemiah led the people to rebuild Jerusalem’s walls.
  • How did the Israelites respond to the reading of God’s Word? They repented.

Emphasize this principle: God restores what is broken. Therefore, we should repent and seek His glory.

Practice:

  • Praise God for being faithful to His people and promises.
  • Repent from sin and live to honor God.

Praise: “Great Is Thy Faithfulness”

Prepare for next week: Review 1 Samuel-Esther

Memorize for Mar 15-Apr 19: “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.” Ephesians 2:8-10*
