God Judges Belshazzar for His Pride
Passage: Daniel 5
Principle: Believers respond to God’s warning before they are judged.
Praise: “Trust in the Lord with All Your Heart”
Prompt: Ask your child these questions:
- Why did Belshazzar use the vessels from the Lord’s temple?
- What happened to the wall, and what did the writing mean?
Practice: Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:
- By repenting when others are punished.
- By telling others about God’s judgment.
