God’s Truth found in His Word is so great that everything pales in comparison. All we have to do is to go back in this blog and read through all of the awesome testimonies of Truth to see that it is only by His Truth that we are made free and transformed! Nothing else measures up to His power!
Ephesians 3:20 says, “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think…” Did you catch that? God is able to not only do above what we ask for, but He goes exceedingly abundantly above what we could even THINK! Now THAT’S power, and that’s the power of His Truth.
One of our residents has recognized this power in her own life, and wanted to share this fact and the impact it has had on her. We hope you are impacted, too, as she shares:
“God’s Truth has shown me that my ‘truth’ will always fall short. I have learned how shallow and weak my truth is. His Truth is freeing and cleansing, whereas my truth is fabricated in my own pride. Going to Him and asking for understanding from His Word helps me to realize that only through Him can I even begin to grow in understanding. His Truth sets me free from all my fears and guilt and shame. It never changes and never contradicts itself.”
When we long for stability in our lives, we can be assured that we can always lean on the Truth of our Lord for this stable strength. What an awesome reminder!
