The Tippecanoe County Highway Department has helped us in a BIG way by fixing a road closure on our 10K race course! So the 10K Race remains unchanged!!!
Earlier this week, we found out that the road on our part of our 10K certified race course was closed due to a washout. Here are two pictures of what we saw earlier this week before the County’s hard work:
There was NO WAY we would allow our participants to go this route so we had scrambled to make an alternate route, etc. but none of that is necessary now thanks to our awesome County Highway workers.
Thankfully, the featured pic posted above at the first of this blog post is NOW what the road looks like so we can run the Race as planned! So if you are a 10K runner, plan for the same race course with The Hill of Difficulty to challenge you again this year.
We are so grateful to Tippecanoe County for their work and thoughtfulness to help us offer an excellent event at Race for Hope 2015!
