Safe Haven Home

Over the years God has richly blessed Vision of Hope by providing for our needs as we strive to offer help to women caught in life-dominating sinful habits. God has provided the Vision of Hope facility as a place of hope and healing, and this year He has seen fit to provide Faith Ministries with another home of refuge for those in need!

Each year Subaru of Indiana Automotive (SIA) selects a beneficiary or project based on community need that will lend a hand to families in Tippecanoe County. In 2012 God saw fit to lead them to select a project in cooperation with Faith Church and the American Red Cross: the SIA Safe Haven Home. Safe Haven is a fully furnished home providing temporary housing for victims of fire, natural disasters, or domestic violence. We all watched with eagerness as the house was built right next door to Vision of Hope, and in February we celebrated the opening of the SIA Safe Haven Home.

We are so excited as God is helping us prepare to serve those in our community who are in need. We have already had the privilege of serving one local family after they lost their home in a fire, and we are eagerly awaiting our next opportunity to serve a family in need.

The staff and residents of Vision of Hope play a huge part in the maintenance of Safe Haven, and are able to welcome and provide for new families as they arrive. Our ladies help keep the house clean and orderly at all times, so that we are always prepared to serve our next family with excellence.

We are praying that God will greatly use the SIA Safe Haven Home to show His love and provision for His children. If you or someone you know have suffered a personal disaster andĀ could use the assistance of Safe Haven, give us a call at (765) 447-5900 or contact the Red Cross at (765) 742-6975.

Bethany Dunn
Bethany heard about Vision of Hope while attending Word of Life Bible Institute in Florida. When she began praying about what God wanted her to do after graduating, He kept bringing Vision of Hope to her mind. Knowing that there was an internship available, Bethany applied, was accepted, and began her internship with VOH in July, 2012. Since then she has been amazed at the opportunities God has given her to learn more about His Word and how it applies to everyday life. Bethany now serves on staff at Vision of Hope.
