We have recently picked up a new way of helping out here at VOH…couponing! This unique ministry began in September when it was started by our social worker/counselor, Heather Starkweather. These past 5 months have been so successful, and we are very thankful for all of the coupon donations we have received, and how God has provided for us in this area. So far our total savings since we started has been $859.16. That is an average of $169.63 per month! This is truly a great blessing to us.
Our staff, interns, volunteers, and residents stay very busy each week clipping, sorting, and filing coupons! We also have a couple of volunteer shoppers who go out and find great bargains for us. Our greatest need is for additional shoppers who would be willing to use our coupons to go purchase the items for us. Oftentimes you can just add this to your regular weekly shopping.
