Every year our staff work diligently to prepare for one of our biggest fundraisers of the year: Race for Hope. This year is no exception. Our staff has been working for months to plan and prepare for this year’s race in June, and we are all very excited about it.<\/p>\n

Race for Hope is a 5k walk and 10k certified race, benefiting Vision of Hope and Faith Bible Seminary. This race is a huge blessing to us, as we are striving to provide treatment to hurting women at a very low cost. It is not uncommon for young ladies to contact us who have been desperate for treatment but have\u00a0been unable\u00a0to afford it. We\u00a0are so ecstatic to be able to offer them Biblical\u00a0treatment centered upon truth from the Word of God at a very low cost, and we are striving to keep it that way.<\/p>\n

Most of our funding comes from donations, and Race for Hope\u00a0is one of the biggest\u00a0opportunities for\u00a0others\u00a0to\u00a0support us. We are so thankful for those who have supported us in the past through Race for Hope, and also for those who will be supporting us this year as well. And the good news is you don’t have to be from Lafayette to participate! You can participate in this huge blessing by signing up as a virtual\u00a0walker on any of our teams.<\/p>\n

Last year we had 151 runners, 146 walkers, and 32 virtual walkers. With a total of 297 participants, we were able to raise $36,645 for Vision of Hope. This year our goal will be to raise $40,000, and we are confident that God will provide many donors to help us reach this goal.<\/p>\n

So whether you are a runner or a walker (or virtual walker), we invite you to join one of our teams and share in the blessing that Race for Hope has been to us each year.
