To say thank you to supporters, we asked Wayburn Dean, a Grammy-nominated recording artist formerly with the group Acappella<\/em>, to perform a worshipful concert.\u00a0 We wanted to do something a little different at this year\u2019s Benefit while including some of the strong elements of past banquet events. Wayburn Dean\u2019s singing will be surrounded by testimonies of God\u2019s transforming grace at VOH. This will be our Tribute to Hope Fund Raiser to raise $40,000.<\/p>\n The Benefit will begin at 6pm with the concert as the centerpiece. We will receive a \u2018love offering\u2019 benefitting VOH with a special note:\u00a0 If we exceed our goal of $40,000, we will apply those extra funds to our new initiative to send two trained VOH interns to the Dominican Republic to serve in a partnering orphanage in that country.\u00a0 We already have the persons committed to go and serve; therefore, we now need the funding to send them.\u00a0 So your gift could impact orphans for the cause of Christ in a foreign country!<\/p>\n Please prayerfully consider attending this special night where we will say \u2018thank you\u2019 for partnering with us to advance His Kingdom.<\/p>\n Praising His Name,<\/p>\n Mark E.
