\u201cOh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!\u201d<\/strong> (Psalm 107:1)<\/p>\n

As Thanksgiving has come and gone, we are reminded how much out Lord is worthy of our praise and thanks! He is good to His people! He is righteous, just, holy, loving, and patient. He deserves our praise and thanks every day for His amazing grace and mercy!<\/p>\n

Prompted by the love and grace of our Lord, our staff and intern team have shared some things they are thankful for. Join with us in praising our worthy God!<\/p>\n

\u201cI’m thankful for the many ways I have seen the Lord provide for myself and others this year! I’m thankful that God has been working in my heart to grow my love for authority!\u201d<\/em> \u2013 Annie<\/p>\n

\u201cSo thankful how the Lord blesses the VOH ladies and lavishes His love on them.\u00a0 I get so excited when there is a drastic change and when they are filled with great hope!\u00a0 So thankful to see God work!\u201d<\/em> \u2013 Janice<\/p>\n

\u201cI am so thankful for the gospel. I can take it for granted but when I choose to keep it a part of my everyday thinking there is great joy.\u201d<\/em> \u2013 Janelle<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m thankful that two of my counselee\u2019s graduated from VOH this year! I am thankful for the practical wisdom from the book of James, and that God promises generous wisdom when we ask for help to consider our trails joy. I am SOOOO thankful for the Vision of Hope Interns and their sacrifice to fiercely love the residents and staff.\u00a0 They bless my heart ALL the time!\u201d<\/em> – Jenn<\/p>\n

\u201cI am thankful I’ve gotten to see young women’s hearts soften to Jesus as they’ve dived deeper into His Word.\u00a0I am thankful to have\u00a0watched God break the proud, strengthen the weak, bring comfort to the hurting, give understanding to the lost, reveal Truth to the deceived, and produce calmness in the midst of chaos.\u201d<\/em> \u2013 Christy<\/p>\n

\u201c<\/em>I am thankful that God is in control of my life and even over my mistakes\u201d<\/em> \u2013 Katie<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m so thankful for the power of the Gospel! I\u2019m so thankful for the opportunity to learn from the loving example of other interns and staff here at VOH. Being here is such a gift!\u201d<\/em> \u2013 Sarah<\/p>\n

“I’m so thankful that God allows us to see the ugliness in our own heart, not to condemn us, but so\u00a0He can remind us of the great\u00a0sacrifice of His beloved\u00a0Son. He gently loves us to Himself and shows us His deep mercy and grace. \u00a0He helps us to grow and change that we might\u00a0be made like His Son. Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift of Jesus to a broken world, He is all we need!”<\/em> -Elizabeth<\/p>\n

“I am so thankful for God\u2019s work in my children\u2019s lives!\u00a0 He has blessed them abundantly.\u00a0 It is a\u00a0joy to raise teenagers who are trying to follow Christ.\u00a0 I am also thankful for the godly leadership of my husband.\u00a0 The way God has blessed our family takes my breath away!”\u00a0<\/em>\u2013 Heather<\/p>\n
