We are getting very excited about the Race for Hope this year! Although the Race is a fundraiser for Vision of Hope and Faith Bible Seminary, receiving donations is not our main goal. The main goal of the Race for Hope is this: spreading the message that the Gospel is still powerful and that God is still in the business of changing lives!<\/p>\n

1 Peter 3:15 states, \u201cbut in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you.\u201d <\/b>We are so excited that with the Race, we have many opportunities to share that we have hope because of the message of the Gospel. Christ is the only One who offers true, lasting hope and freedom, and the Race for Hope gives us a great opportunity to share this message\u00a0with those in our community!<\/p>\n

There are several ways that you can be involved in this exciting event.<\/p>\n

First, you can pray for our ministry and the Race for Hope. Pray that through this event, we will have many opportunities to proclaim the Gospel!<\/p>\n

Another way to be involved is to register as a participant in any of these three events.\u00a0Please visit our race website<\/a>\u00a0to register. Each registration receives a sharp event t-shirt and a packet of goodies.<\/p>\n

The next\u00a0way you can help us with this community event is to volunteer. The commitment is only for one morning from 7 am to 10:30 or 11 am. There are a variety of ways to volunteer. Please visit our volunteer site<\/a> if you’re interested in partnering with us in this way!<\/p>\n

Finally, since this is one of our few fundraisers, you could help by sponsoring a runner on one of the teams on our\u00a0 donation page<\/a>. We ask each team captain to raise $1,000.00 in support and it would greatly bless them if you prayerfully considered contributing to their efforts.<\/p>\n
