Why do we struggle with sin? What is it that captivates our hearts to drive us away from God? And how can we fight those temptations and choose to please God? In this week’s resource, Lies Women Believe<\/em>, Nancy Leigh DeMoss seeks to answer these very questions by highlighting some of the common and dangerous lies women tend to believe today, and weighing them against the truth of the Bible.<\/p>\n

In Lies Women Believe<\/em>, DeMoss dives deep into the root cause of the enslaving struggles we face today: lies. Just like Eve was deceived and ate of the forbidden fruit, we are still so easily deceived, and oftentimes are blind to it. Each chapter in this book addresses several lies, building up to 40 lies by the end of the book. And these aren’t just surfacy, \u201cthese kind of apply to me but kind of don’t\u201d lies; DeMoss does a great job of getting deep and specific, and takes the time to battle each lie with the truth of God’s Word! With personal application questions at the end of each chapter, this interactive book really gets its reader on the pathway to freedom from deceiving lies.<\/p>\n
