It is always fun for me\u00a0to work with others. In\u00a0a new book, I\u00a0had the privilege of\u00a0co-authoring with two young ladies at Vision of Hope who have served faithfully as Interns where they wrote blogs, newsletters, and managed our social media. These ladies have been a great blessing to the residents, staff, and interns and they are gifted writers: Rachel Bailey and Bethany Spence. Both have a passion for helping young ladies struggling with what is called an “eating disorder.”<\/p>\n

The book we wrote is called Eating Disorders: Hope for Hungering Souls<\/em> and it is available now from the publisher, Focus Publishing<\/a>, and soon to be from Faith Church’s bookstore. Marie Notcheva<\/a>, author of Redeemed from the Pit<\/em>, wrote the Foreword.<\/p>\n

What I really like about the book is the size: it’s small but chocked full of biblical principles, a diary by someone in the struggle, and real hope. It will be an easy read for counselors, those in the struggle, and anyone wanting to learn more about how to help a person to grow and change.<\/p>\n

In days ahead, we’ll have more about the book from each of the co-authors as well as some excerpts and the like. It’s available to you now at Focus (1-800-91-FOCUS)\u00a0and we pray it will encourage you in your walk with Christ.<\/p>\n
