My Dream<\/u><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

The fires of Hell made me shiver in fear<\/div>\n
There’s no way out of darkness and despair<\/div>\n
God, take this terrible pain away!<\/div>\n
The burns on my arms go to my bones,<\/div>\n
And the ash in my eyes makes them bleed!<\/div>\n
The feeling of hopelessness and loss has taken over.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Yet, there is still a faint light in the distance, calling my name.<\/div>\n
And before my last breath I say,<\/div>\n
“I’m sorry, forgive me, I believe.”<\/div>\n
And I reach for His hand as my eyes close.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
My eyes open, and they are clean!<\/div>\n
The burns are gone,<\/div>\n
I feel no pain, and see no darkenss.<\/div>\n
The feeling of over amount of happiness and joy,<\/div>\n
Makes my eyes start to tear<\/div>\n
Knowing God has forgiven me,<\/div>\n
As the sinner I am.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
And now I’m in the presence of God<\/div>\n
Singing and praising Him<\/div>\n
Worshipping Him for eternity.<\/div>\n

This poem was written by one of our girls last week as she comtemplated the truth of Scripture she’s hearing and understanding for the first time. Last week she almost made the decision to become a follower of Christ, but something is holding her back. Please be praying for her this week as she contemplates this further.
