Whenever the<\/span> Faith Bible Seminary<\/a> course BC 611\u2014Biblical Counseling Lab<\/em> meets, students craft a 25-word-or-less response to the question:<\/span><\/p>\n

What makes biblical counseling truly biblical?<\/em>\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

They\u2019re not given a great deal of time to develop this. So it\u2019s not their definitive answer, but their working description\u2014that captures their heart for biblical counseling. We\u2019ve collated responses from a couple recent lab groups. With their permission, we\u2019re sharing (in no particular order) their descriptions for your consideration.<\/span><\/p>\n

What Makes Biblical Counseling Truly Biblical?<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Response #1<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Biblical counseling involves lovingly journeying with one another as we relate the whole gospel story to the whole person\u2019s whole story.<\/span><\/p>\n

Biblical counseling is believers in community connecting intimately, while drawing near to God\u2019s heart to practically apply biblical truth to our everyday lives.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
