Yesterday, for my class devotions, I asked students to list some of their activities and focuses over the past week.\u00a0 I then instructed them to write a Psalm to the Lord based on their current life situation, and I wanted to take time to share some of their perspective:<\/p>\n

Student Psalm 1<\/strong><\/em><\/h2>\n

Over all things;\u00a0 God is Good!
\nDuring my commitments;\u00a0 God is Good!
\nWhile I study APUSH;\u00a0 God is Good!
\nIn my relationships;\u00a0 God is Good!<\/p>\n

When I have to work until 12:45 a.m.;\u00a0 God is Good!
\nEven during cancer;\u00a0 God is Good!
\nIn ALL things, not some, ALL things;\u00a0 God is Good!<\/p>\n

Student Psalm 2<\/strong><\/em><\/h2>\n

Even though I\u2019m busy with school and sports,
\nThank you, God for being my peace.
\nIt\u2019s\u00a0comforting to know you\u2019re always there.<\/p>\n

Even when things don\u2019t go my way,
\nThank you for giving me the ability to play volleyball.
\nEven though it\u2019s been hard, I have greatly enjoyed it
\nand will miss it next year.<\/p>\n

Lastly, thank you for my family and my many friends.
\nI love them so much;
\nThey are what help me through my day.<\/p>\n

Thank you for loving me.
\nHelp me see past my problems
\nand make an eternal impact on others.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Student Psalm 3<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Lord, you know what is going on in my life.
\nYou know that I haven\u2019t gotten to have a lot of free time
\nbetween homework and other commitments.<\/p>\n

You know I\u2019m tired and frustrated by school,
\nbut You have promised to never give me more than
\nI can bear.<\/p>\n

Help me to remember that You are preparing me
\nfor something greater in life than myself.
\nHelp me to be thankful to you for the \u201cfun\u201d things I get to do
\nand help me to do them for You and Your glory alone.<\/p>\n

Student\u00a0Psalm 4<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n

My life is so busy!
\nI try to have fun in every situation, though.
\nThank You for my church youth group \u2013
\nI pray that You will help us grow closer.<\/p>\n

Thank you for Faith and how I\u2019ve come to love it here.
\nPlease give me endurance as I run
\non less and less sleep through the week.
\nThank you for the awesome teachers,
\neven though they give out a lot of work.
\nHelp them to get their grades in on time.<\/p>\n

My friends are awesome!
\nWhat blessings they are to me.
\nPlease give me guidance with my relationships \u2013
\nhelp me know the right things to say.
\nLet us be mutually encouraged.
\nI\u2019m thankful for those people,
\nbut sometimes they drain me emotionally!<\/p>\n

Thank you for the soccer team too \u2013
\nI love all those girls and our coaches.
\nI miss it already.\u00a0 I Love You!<\/p>\n
