Cross country is about doing more than you ever thought was possible.<\/p>\n

Your body is put to the test and stretched beyond its normal capacity to reach peak level. It\u2019s not just running; it is a lifestyle; it\u2019s a metaphor for life. You have to press on, endure, and NEVER give up. They say, \u201crunning is a mental sport, and we\u2019re all insane.\u201d I guess that\u2019s true, but we are tough. We run through the grit, the mud, and the dirt. We welcome pain. We embrace muscle soreness and fatigue because this is what we do. It\u2019s who we are. The passion we feel for our sport is unmatched because it is a gift from God Himself. Cross country means running on hilly courses and through rough terrain for 3.1 miles. For those 3 miles, you are free. You run with your heart and strive to glorify God. Your legs are your most prized possession, and with them, you fly. Olympic champion Eric Liddell puts it best, \u201cI believe God made me for a purpose, but He also made me fast, and when I run, I feel His pleasure.\u201d<\/p>\n
